As shown below, this assignment was centered around playful engagement with the environment. The aim was to analytically deconstruct it and then reassemble it in a way that playfully reflects its surroundings. I drew inspiration from the native bush enveloping the site, using its forms, textures, and rhythms to inform the design of the playground/treehouse illustrated below.

My final design took the form of a treehouse, carefully camouflaged within the natural environment to create a peaceful, sheltered retreat from study. Beneath the main platform, I incorporated tucked-away seating areas, offering quiet nooks for rest and reflection. An elevated platform invites visitors to reconnect with nature among the treetops of the surrounding native bush. The roof structure echoes this organic connection, with timber panels layered to reflect the texture and rhythm of the forest canopy.
